It is believed in most cases that most students in various colleges and universities bend or break the set ethical rules for the reasons that the student leaders or individuals in charge are blinded to unethical behaviors and in some instances encourage them unintentionally.Five barriers lead to unethical behaviors but even the school administration cannot be aware of unethical behaviors committed by its students. 1 Ill-conceived goalsIn such cases, students settle for ideas that encourage a certain behavior thus contributing to a negative one. For example, vengeance to either bullying or any other unethical behavior that a particular student fell a victim in. 2 Motivated blindnessSuch scenarios may arise when students fail to see the behaviors of others but remain unaware if it favors them. For example, student leaders failing to notice that they may encourage the behavior of some students hacking into the school exam systems are either grading or acquiring the exams for themselves. 3 Indirect blindnessOther students are held less accountable for unethical behaviors when done by other students.
